अल्मोड़ा के भैंसियाछाना ब्लाॅक के रीठागाड़ क्षेत्र से एक महिला को प्रसव पीड़ा होने के कारण अस्पताल को ले जाया जा रहा था, परन्तु सड़क में पहुंचने से पहले ही अत्यधिक पीड़ा होने के कारण साथ में आई महिलाओं ने मोबाइल की रोशनी में उनका सुरक्षित प्रसव करवाया। इस गांव में सड़क न होने के कारण आज भी लोगों को कई समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
