मिली जानकारी के अनुसार महाराष्ट्र के अकोला निवासी 65 वर्षीय कुमुद अपने पति के साथ उत्तराखण्ड में बद्रीनाथ दर्शन करने आई थी। बद्रीनाथ दर्शन कर महिला अपने पति के साथ बस में बैठकर हरिद्वार के लिए लौट रही थी। इसी दौरान उनकी तबीयत खराब हुई और वे वोमेंटिंग करने के लिए बस से उतरकर खाई की ओर चले गई। इसी दौरान महिला का संतुलन बिगड़ा और वह खाई में जा गिरी। मौके पर पहुंची एसडीआरएफ ने खाई में उतरकर महिला का शव बरामद किया।

According to the information received, 65-year-old Kumud, a resident of Akola, Maharashtra, had come with her husband to visit Badrinath in Uttarakhand. After seeing Badrinath, the woman was returning to Haridwar with her husband on a bus. During this, her health deteriorated and she got down from the bus and went to the ditch to do Vomiting. During this, the woman's balance was disturbed and she fell into the ditch. The SDRF reached the spot and recovered the body of the woman after landing in the ditch.
