उत्तराखंड पंचायत उपचुनाव में अब 321 पदों पर मुकाबला तय हो गया है, जिनके लिए 2266 उम्मीदवार चुनाव में उतरेंगे। राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग के अनुसार कुल 32,985 रिक्त पदों में से 27,221 उम्मीदवार निर्विरोध चुने जा चुके हैं। अब ग्राम पंचायत सदस्य के 316 पदों, प्रधान के 4 पदों और जिला पंचायत के 1 पद के लिए मतदान कराया जाएगा।
