जानकारी के अनुसार, मणिपुर में नई सरकार के गठन के बाद चुराचांदपुर जिले में हिंसा की घटनाएं सामने आई हैं। बताया गया कि नए उपमुख्यमंत्री के शपथ ग्रहण के विरोध में शुरू हुआ प्रदर्शन जल्द ही उग्र हो गया, जिसमें पत्थरबाजी और टायर जलाने की घटनाएं हुईं। फिलहाल स्थिति नियंत्रण में बताई जा रही है और इलाके में पुलिस बल तैनात किये गये हैं।
