बांग्लादेश के गोपालगंज में नेशनल सिटीजन पार्टी की रैली के दौरान हिंसा भड़क उठी। रैली का विरोध कर रहे आवामी लीग समर्थकों और पुलिस के बीच झड़प हुई, जिसके बाद सेना ने हालात संभालने के लिए फायरिंग की। इसमें चार लोगों की मौत और 20 से अधिक लोग घायल हुए हैं। स्थिति को देखते हुए जिले में कर्फ्यू लगा दिया गया है।
