Villagers object to tourist movement at Tungnath after winter closure

According to information, local villagers have objected to tourist movement even after the Tungnath temple doors were closed for winter. Locals met the DM and said the Forest Department is issuing permits for tourism, which they claim is violating traditional practices and increasing littering in the high-altitude meadow areas.
