चंपावत जिला मुख्यालय में बीते दो सप्ताह से पेयजल की समस्या से लोगों को जूझना पड़ रहा है। चंपावत संघर्ष समिति के जिला अध्यक्ष बसंत तड़ागी के नेतृत्व में चंपावत विकास संघर्ष समिति व नगर क्षेत्र के लोगों ने जल निगम व जल संस्थान के अधिकारियों से मुलाकात कर जल्द पेयजल की समस्या से निजात दिलाने की मांग उठाई है।
