राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह से राजभवन में कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय, नैनीताल के कुलपति प्रो0 डी. एस. रावत ने भेंट कर विश्वविद्यालय के क्रियाकलापों और गतिविधियों के संबंध में प्रस्तुतिकरण दिया। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा वर्तमान में अर्जित की गई उपलब्धियां के बारे में भी राज्यपाल को विस्तार से अवगत कराया। राज्यपाल ने कुलाधिपति महोदय कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय की वर्तमान प्रगति एवं कई उपलब्धियां के संबंध में कुलपति और विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन की सराहना की।

Vice Chancellor of Kumaon University, Nainital, Prof. D.S. Rawat met Governor Gurmit Singh at Raj Bhavan and gave a presentation regarding the activities of the university. He also informed the Governor in detail about the current achievements made by the University. The Governor praised the Chancellor and the university administration regarding the current progress and many achievements of Kumaon University.
