अपराध की रोकथाम के क्रम में नैनीताल के लालकुआँ क्षेत्र में उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस ने सत्यापन अभियान चलाया जिसमें किरायेदारों के सत्यापन का विवरण प्रस्तुत न किए जाने पर 27 भवन स्वामियों के विरूद्ध ₹10-10 हज़ार की चालानी कार्यवाही की गयी।

In order to prevent crime, the Uttarakhand Police conducted a verification campaign in the Lalkuan area of Nainital, in which challan action of ₹ 10 thousand each was taken against 27 building owners for not submitting the details of the verification of the tenants.
