चमोली के बिरही के पास बद्रीनाथ राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर एक वाहन पलट गया, जिसमें एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई, जबकि चार लोग घायल हो गए। इसी दौरान सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। बताया जा रहा है कि वाहन में सवार कुल 10 लोग 28 जुलाई को होने वाले मतदान में भाग लेने के लिए घर लौट रहे थे।
