वर्तमान में उत्तराखण्ड प्रदेश के जनपद अल्मोड़ा के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में गौवंशीय व महिशवंशीय पशुओं में लंपी स्किन डिजीज संक्रमण की रोकथाम हेतु मुख्य पशु चिकित्साधिकारी, अल्मोड़ा डॉ उदय शंकर महोदय के दिशा निर्देशों के क्रम में संपूर्ण जनपद में अधिनस्थ पशु चिकित्साधिकारियों के नेतृत्व में एल.एस.डी. टीकाकरण अभियान युद्ध स्तर पर चल रहा है। दिनाँक 30.05.2023 तक जनपद अल्मोड़ा में कुल 928 पशु संक्रमित हुए थे, जिनमें से 857 पशु स्वस्थ हो चुके हैं।

At present, for the prevention of lumpy skin disease infection in cattle and cattle in different areas of Almora district of Uttarakhand state, under the leadership of the subordinate veterinary officers in the entire district, in accordance with the guidelines of Dr. Uday Shankar, Chief Veterinary Officer, Almora. L.S.D. Vaccination campaign is going on on a war footing. Till date 30.05.2023, a total of 928 animals were infected in Almora district, out of which 857 animals have become healthy.
