Sachin Kumar, a student of PM Shri Rajkiya Adarsh Kirti Inter College in Uttarkashi, created a new record by successfully scaling Mount Everest on May 18, 2025, at the young age of just 16. The NCC cadet was honored by the school in a ceremony held at Suman Auditorium.
