उत्तरकाशी के सिलाई बैंड क्षेत्र में हुए भूस्खलन के बाद जहां लापता लोगों की खोज और बचाव कार्य युद्धस्तर पर जारी है, वहीं प्रशासन और राहत दल लगातार मौके पर डटे हुए हैं। इसी बीच, गंगोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को यातायात के लिए पूरी तरह से सुचारू कर दिया गया है, जबकि यमुनोत्री हाईवे पर जगह-जगह अवरोधों को हटाने का कार्य तेज़ी से किया जा रहा है।
