Uttarakhand youth held captive after being lured abroad with a job offer

According to reports, a young man from Gadarpur in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand was allegedly deceived by agents on the pretext of providing a job abroad and was taken to Ethiopia, where he has been held captive. It is alleged that a ransom of ₹80 lakh was initially demanded from his family, which was later reduced to ₹50 lakh.
