जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड में दूसरे राज्यों से आने वाले निजी वाहनों से ‘ग्रीन सेस’ वसूलने की व्यवस्था जल्द लागू होने जा रही है और इसके लिए परिवहन विभाग ने सॉफ्टवेयर तैयार कर लिया है, जिसका परीक्षण चल रहा है। बताया गया है कि इस राशि का उपयोग सड़क सुरक्षा और वृक्षारोपण जैसे कार्यों में किया जाएगा।

According to reports, Uttarakhand is set to soon introduce a system to collect a “green cess” from private vehicles entering from other states, and Department has prepared the software for it, which is currently under testing.
