खबर के अनुसार, लद्दाख के सियाचीन क्षेत्र में तैनात उत्तराखंड के पिथौरागढ़ निवासी जवान दीपक कुमार जेठी शहीद हो गए। बताया गया कि वे भारतीय सेना की 7 कुमाऊं रेजीमेंट में तैनात थे और ड्यूटी के दौरान तबीयत बिगड़ने पर उन्हें इलाज के लिए दिल्ली लाया गया था। वहीं, उनके निधन की खबर से पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है।
