उत्तराखंड सरकार ने लक्ष्य रखा है कि आने वाले वर्षों में प्रदेश के सभी 13 जिलों में मेडिकल कॉलेज स्थापित किए जाएं, ताकि स्थानीय छात्रों को बेहतर अवसर मिल सकें। जानकारी के अनुसार वर्तमान में उत्तराखंड में नौ मेडिकल कॉलेज हैं, जिनमें पांच सरकारी और चार निजी कॉलेज शामिल हैं।

The Uttarakhand government has set a goal to establish a medical college in all 13 districts of the state in the coming years to provide better opportunities for local students. Currently, Uttarakhand has nine medical colleges, including five government and four private institutions.
