जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड में नए वित्तीय वर्ष की शुरुआत के साथ बिजली दरों में कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की गई है। बताया गया कि विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने यूपीसीएल के 15-20 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी प्रस्ताव को जनहित में खारिज कर दिया और उपभोक्ताओं पर अतिरिक्त बोझ नहीं डाला जाएगा, जिससे पूरे राज्य में लोगों को बड़ी राहत मिली है।
