जनपद पौड़ी गढ़वाल निवासी द्वारा पुलिस को शिकायती प्रार्थना पत्र प्राप्त हुआ कि किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने उनके साथ रु0 1,25,000 की ऑनलाईन ठगी की है। जिस पर पुलिस टीम एवं जनपद की साईबर सेल द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए पीड़ित व्यक्ति के खाते से कटी रु0 1,00000 की धनराशि को आवेदक के खाते में वापस करायी गयी। पीड़ित व्यक्ति द्वारा साईबर सैल के उक्त कार्य की सराहना करते हुए धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया गया। 

उत्तराखण्ड पुलिस द्वारा ऑनलाइन साईबर ठगी का शिकार हुये व्यक्ति के खाते में लौटाई गई ठगी की रु0 1,00,000 धनराशि

Police received a complaint letter from a resident of Pauri Garhwal district that an unknown person had frauded him of Rs 1,25,000/- online. On which the police team and the cyber cell of the district took immediate action, the amount of Rs. 1,00000/- was returned to the applicant's account. The victim expressed thanks while appreciating the work of the cyber cell.

Uttarakhand Police returned Rs 1,00000/- to the account of the person who was victim of online cyber fraud.
