Uttarakhand Police rescued three pilgrims who were swept away while bathing in Ganga

A group of 12 Kanwadis had come to Janaki Bridge Ghat from Patiala, Punjab to take a bath in the Ganga. Due to the fast flow of the Ganga river, three devotees got caught in the fast flow of the Ganga river, who were rescued safely with the help of rescue equipment by the water police and disaster relief team staff deployed on the spot.
