ग्राम सोपुरी के ग्राम वासियों द्वारा पुलिस को सूचना दी गयी कि एक व्यक्ति गंगा नदी के तेज बहाव में फंसा हुआ है। जिस पर चौकी भिक्कमपुर व बाढ चौकी से रैस्क्यू टीम द्वारा गोताखोरों की मदद से फंसे युवक को लगभग 1 किमी दूरी तक रैस्क्यू कर नदी से सकुशल बाहर निकाला गया, जिसकी स्थानीय जनता द्वारा काफी सराहना की गयी।

The villagers of village Sopuri informed the police that a person was trapped in the strong current of the Ganga river. On which the rescue team from the Bhikkampur outpost and Badh outpost, with the help of divers, rescued the trapped youth for about 1 km and took him out of the river safely, which was highly appreciated by the local people.
