पत्नी अस्वस्थ थी और कबूल चंद जी उन्हें उपचार हेतु हर्षिल ले जाने के लिए सुक्की टॉप पर वाहन का इंतजार कर रहे थे। काफी देर तक जब उन्हें कोई वाहन नहीं मिला तो उन्होंने मौके पर मौजूद एसआई हरीश फर्त्याल व आरक्षी अशोक जुयाल को अपनी समस्या के बारे में बताया। पुलिसकर्मी उन्हें सरकारी वाहन से हर्षिल ले गए, उपचार कराया और वापस घर छोड़ा।
