यातायात निरीक्षक श्री प्रवीण आलोक इंटरसेप्टर में चमोली-क्षेत्रपाल के बीच ड्यूटी पर मौजूद थे। तभी अचानक पहाड़ी से एक बड़ा सा पत्थर सड़क पर आ गिरा, पत्थर वाहन चालकों के लिए मुसीबत बन रहा था। मौके पर मौजूद यातायात निरीक्षक प्रवीण आलोक व कां. नीरज भंडारी से ये सब देखा नही गया व जेसीबी का इंतजार किये बिना स्थानीय व्यक्तियों की सहायता से पत्थर को सड़क से किनारे कर दिया। यात्रियों द्वारा पुलिस कर्मियों के इस जज्बे को सलाम किया गया।
