अल्मोड़ा- थाना द्वाराहाट को वृद्ध माताजी की सूचना मिली जो पैरों में चोट लगने से चल-फिरने में असमर्थ थीं। सड़क से 1.5 कि.मी. ऊपर पैदल चलकर पुलिस उनके पास पहुंची, उन्हें गोद में उठाकर गांव के संकरे पैदल रास्तों से सड़क मार्ग तक लाये। अपनी गाड़ी में बैठाकर उपचार हेतु द्वाराहाट अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया और कपड़े लेकर दिए।
