गंगोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर स्थित गंगनानी जो धार्मिक एवं आस्था का केंद्र है। गंगोत्री जाने वाले समस्त तीर्थ यात्री सर्वप्रथम गंगनानी में स्नान पूजा पाठ करते हैं उसके पश्चात आगे की यात्रा करते हैं। कुण्ड में अचानक एक महिला तीर्थ यात्री को फिसलने के कारण चोट लग गई। यात्री को उपचार हेतु तत्काल महिला जवानों द्वारा गंगनानी अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
