खबर के अनुसार, गर्मी बढ़ने के साथ जंगलों में पानी के प्राकृतिक स्रोत सूखने लगे हैं, जिससे वन्य जीव पानी की तलाश में अक्सर आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों की ओर आने लगते हैं। इस स्थिति को देखते हुए उधम सिंह नगर के पतरामपुर रेंज में वन विभाग ने जंगल के भीतर लगभग 15 वाटर हॉल तैयार किए हैं और जहां पानी की कमी है, वहां टैंकरों से पानी भरवाया जा रहा है।
