मूल रूप से पौडी जिले के निवासी आईएएस अधिकारी अमित सिंह नेगी को प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में अपर सचिव के तौर पर जिम्मेदारी दी गई है। अमित नेगी 1999 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी हैं जिन्होंने उत्तराखंड में विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण पदों को संभाला है और लंबे समय से वह वित्त विभाग में जिम्मेदारी देख रहे थे।
