खबर के अनुसार, बागेश्वर जिले के निवासी बीएसएफ हवलदार गोविंद सिंह कोरंगा का अमृतसर (पंजाब) में ड्यूटी के दौरान हार्ट अटैक से जान चली गई, जिसके बाद उनका पार्थिव शरीर गांव लाया गया और सरयू-गोमती संगम पर सैन्य सम्मान के साथ उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया।

According to reports, BSF Havaldar Govind Singh Koranga, a resident of Bageshwar district, passed away due to a heart attack while on duty in Amritsar, Punjab. His mortal remains were later brought to his village, and he was laid to rest with full military honours at the Saryu–Gomti confluence.
