Two modern STPs for Ganga purification in Rishikesh

Under the Namami Gange Mission, two state-of-the-art STPs have been established in the Rishikesh and Muni Ki Reti areas. The 26 MLD capacity STP at Lakkar Ghat treats around 19 crore liters of sewage daily, while the 5 MLD plant in the Chorpani area efficiently purifies the sewage generated from the Muni Ki Reti region.
