Tungnath temple doors to open on May 2

With the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra, the ceremonial idol (Vigrah Doli) of Lord Tungnath, the third Kedar, departed from Makkumath. Devotees expressed their devotion through bhajans and kirtans during the Doli’s departure. The Doli will reach Tungnath Dham on May 2, when the temple doors will be opened with Vedic chants.
