जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तरकाशी जिले के यमुनोत्री हाईवे पर डामटा के पास रिखाऊं खड्ड क्षेत्र में एक कार अनियंत्रित होकर यमुना नदी में गिर गई, जिस कारण इस हादसे में दो युवक - तुषार खत्री (25) और अजय (26), की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। वहीं, एक ही गांव के दो युवकों की असमय मौत से ढुइंक गांव में शोक का माहौल है।
