दिनांक 12.06.2022 को चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग कोठियालसैंण व चमोली के बीच में आंधी तूफान के कारण एक बड़ा पेड़ गिरने से यातायात बाधित हो गया। सूचना मिलने पर फायर सर्विस गोपेश्वर के जवान रेस्क्यू उपकरणों सहित तत्काल मौके पर पहुँचे तथा वुडन कटर की सहायता से कड़ी मशक्त के बाद पेड़ को काटकर मुख्य सड़क से हटाकर यातायात सुचारू किया गया। यात्रियों द्वारा जनपद पुलिस की त्वरित कार्यवाही की सराहना की गयी।

On 12.06.2022, the traffic was disrupted due to the falling of a big tree due to the storm on the Chardham Yatra route between Kothialsain and Chamoli. On receiving the information, the personnel of Fire Service Gopeshwar immediately reached the spot along with the rescue equipment and after hard work with the help of a wooden cutter, the traffic was smoothed by cutting the tree and removing it from the main road. The speedy action of the district police was appreciated by the passengers.
