उत्तरकाशी जिले के मुखबा में पारंपरिक सेल्कू मेला इस बार सादगी से मनाया गया। परंपरा के अनुसार हिमालय से ब्रह्मकमल पुष्प लाकर सोमेश्वर देवता की पूजा की जाती है और रात्रि में ग्रामीण आग के गोलों के साथ खेलते हैं। लेकिन इस वर्ष धराली में आई आपदा के कारण मेले का आयोजन सूक्ष्म रूप से किया गया।

The traditional Selku fair in Mukhba, Uttarkashi district, was observed with simplicity this year. As per tradition, villagers bring the Brahma Kamal flower from the Himalayas to worship Someshwar Devta, and at night they gather to play with fireballs. Due to the recent disaster in Dharali, the celebrations were held in a subdued manner.
