Today The meeting of the Executive Committee of the State Food Security Mission was held in the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu.

The Chief Secretary said that it is necessary to provide a market to the farmers for their produce, and every effort should be made in this direction. The Chief Secretary also directed to make efforts at the state level to develop new varieties of crops and encourage maximum cultivation of pulses, nutritious cereals, and oilseeds.
