विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थिति के कारण ज्यादातर पोलिंग बूथ सड़क से दूर हैं। राज्य में 262 मतदान केंद्र सड़क मार्ग से पांच किमी से अधिक की पैदल दूरी पर स्थ्ति है। बद्रीनाथ विधानसभा के डुमक केंद्र तक पहुंचने के लिए मतदान टीम को 20 किमी पैदल चलना है। 

310 पोलिंग बूथ ऐसे हैं जहां संचार का साधन नहीं

Most of the polling booths are away from the road due to the odd geographical location. 262 polling stations in the state are located at a walking distance of more than five km by road. The polling team has to walk 20 km to reach the Dumak center of Badrinath assembly.
