In Mandya village near Gangtari Purola in Uttarkashi district, a wasp badly bit a 3-year-old boy who was brought to the Community Health Center Purola for treatment. During treatment, the 3-year-old boy was declared dead by the doctor and there was an atmosphere of fear in the village due to the wasp bite. On receiving the information, the fire team and forest team destroyed the wasp nest with tireless efforts using cosmetic suits and ladders.
