शिव को समर्पित गोपीनाथ मंदिर की श्रद्धालुओं में विशेष मान्यता है। मंदिर परिसर में अष्टधातु से बना 5 मीटर ऊँचा एक त्रिशूल है। इस मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में शिवलिंग स्थापित है। परशुराम और भैरवनाथ की मूर्तियां भी है। मंदिर के कुछ ही दूरी पर वैतरणी नामक कुंड है।

The Gopinath temple dedicated to Shiva has special recognition among the devotees. There is a 5-meter high trident made of Ashtadhatu in the temple premises. Shivling is installed in the sanctum sanctorum of this temple. There are also idols of Parashurama and Bhairavnath. There is a pool called Vaitarni at a short distance from the temple.

The temple of Lord Gopinath Ji is situated in Gopeshwar village of Chamoli district.
