कोटद्वार से स्कूल जा रहे शिक्षकों की गाड़ी अनियंत्रित होकर दुगड्डा के पास फतेहपुर बैंड के पास अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में गिर गई। हादसे में तीन शिक्षकों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि अन्य गंभीर रूप से घायल दो शिक्षकों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।
