The meeting of the Prime Minister's Agriculture Irrigation Scheme was concluded under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. S. S.Sandhu.

Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. S. S.Sandhu, a meeting of the State Level Approval Committee of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana was held at the Secretariat on the previous day. During the meeting, schemes worth ₹ 53358.34 lakh were approved for the financial year 2022-23 under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. In the meeting, it was agreed to increase the subsidy given under PMKSY-PDMC from 55 percent to 80 percent.
