The last farewell given to the martyr officer

On the previous day, outpost in-charge Amar Pal Singh, who was on duty at Gaula Barrage, jumped into the river along with his present constable after seeing a young man drowning. He saved the young man but the inspector stopped breathing. Today, colleagues, employees, including officers, paid tribute to him and the last rites were performed with state honors.
