बीते दिन उधम सिंह नगर ठाकुरद्वारा रोड पर सरीजी कॉट फैक्ट्री में लगी आग को फायर सर्विस यूनिट ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर फैलने से रोकते हुए आग को बुझा दिया। फायर सर्विस द्वारा पानी के लिए नजदीकी आइस फैक्ट्री के खुले रिजर्व पानी के टैंक का प्रयोग किया गया।
