25 दिसंबर की रात वन विभाग ने जिस बाघिन को पकड़ा था उसी बाघिन ने मलुवाताल, अलचौना और पिनरों में दो महिला और एक युवती का शिकार बनाया था। भारतीय वन्यजीव संस्थान देहरादून से आई रिपोर्ट के बाद इस बात की पुष्टि हो गई है। अब बाघिन को आजाद नहीं किया जाएगा। बता दें आदमखोर बाघिन ने भीमताल ब्लॉक में सात दिसंबर को इंद्रा देवी, नौ दिसंबर को पुष्पा देवी और 19 दिसंबर को निकिता शर्मा को अपना शिकार बनाया था। जिसके बाद से ग्रामीणों में दहशत का माहौल था।
