On the day of Holi, two youths drowned in the Alaknanda river near Shrikot in Pauri Garhwal. The body of a youth was recovered by the rescue team. On March 19, a re-search was carried out by the SDRF team, during which the body of another youth was also recovered after going 20 to 20 feet deep and handed over to the district police.
