टिहरी पुलिस द्वारा उत्तराखंड सरकार के दिशा-निर्देश में ‘ऑपरेशन मुक्ति’ अभियान के तहत अब तक 33 बच्चों को रेस्क्यू किया गया है, जिसमें 08 बालिकाएं एवं 25 बालक शामिल हैं। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य भिक्षावृत्ति, बाल श्रम एवं सड़क पर जीवन यापन कर रहे बच्चों को शिक्षा की मुख्यधारा से जोड़ना है।

Tehri Police has rescued 33 children so far under the 'Operation Mukti' campaign under the guidance of the Uttarakhand government, which includes 08 girls and 25 boys. The aim of this campaign is to connect children involved in begging, child labour and living on the streets to the mainstream of education.
