Tehri district on alert as bear fear grows, night patrols intensified

According to information, in Tehri district’s Bal Ganga forest range, sightings of bears in the Basar Patti and Budha Kedar areas have created panic among villagers. After complaints, the Forest Department has started night patrols, increased monitoring in the area, and advised people not to go out alone and to stay cautious.
