बीते दिन आगन्तुका ने उपस्थित थाना आकर खुद की नाबालिग पुत्री का घर से नाराज होकर कहीं चले जाने के सम्बन्ध में प्रार्थना दिया। मामले पर त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए उपनिरीक्षक निधि शर्मा द्वारा तत्काल पुलिस टीम का गठन किया गया। पुलिस टीम द्वारा गुमशुदा के दोस्तों से लगातार सम्पर्क कर सुरागरसी-पतारसी करते हुए गुमशुदा को अमसरकोट से बरामद कर परिजनों के सुपुर्द किया गया।
