बलूत व देवदार के वनों से घिरा ताड़केश्वर महादेव मंदिर देखने में बहुत आकर्षक लगता है। यहां पर एक कुंड भी है, ऐसी मान्यता है कि माता लक्ष्मी ने स्वयं इसे खोदा था। पहले इस धाम में एक शिवलिंग हुआ करता था, इस कुंड के जल से ही श्रद्धालु इसका जलाभिषेक किया करते थे। अब शिवलिंग के स्थान पर भगवान शिव की प्रतिमा है। मनोकामना पूरी होने पर भक्तों द्वारा घंटी भेंटस्वरूप चढ़ाने की परंपरा है।

Surrounded by oak and deodar forests, Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple looks very attractive to see. There is also a pool here, it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi herself dug it. Earlier there used to be a Shivling in this Dham, devotees used to perform Jalabhishek from the water of this pool. Now in place of Shivling there is an idol of Lord Shiva. There is a tradition of offering bells as a gift by the devotees on the fulfillment of their wishes.
