मुख्य सचिव श्रीमती राधा रतूड़ी ने हल्द्वानी में प्रेस वार्ता में कहा कि शांति व्यवस्था को भंग करने वाले अराजक तत्वों के खिलाफ कठोर से कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि शहर के हालात सामान्य है। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि शहर के वर्तमान हालातों से सीएम धामी को अवगत कराने के बाद ही आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने क्षेत्र में शांति-व्यवस्था के लिए आम जनता की सराहना की।
