खबर के अनुसार, होली के दौरान जबरन रंग लगाने, नशे में हुड़दंग करने और लोगों से बदसलूकी करने वालों पर नैनीताल पुलिस सख्त कार्रवाई करेगी। इसके लिए चेतावनी दी गई है कि कानून हाथ में लेने पर मुकदमा दर्ज कर सीधे जेल भेजा जाएगा। वहीं, शहर में संवेदनशील इलाकों में गश्त बढ़ाई गई है और महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के लिए महिला पुलिस की तैनाती भी की जाएगी।
