एसटीएफ उत्तराखंड ने झारखंड से ‘डिजिटल अरेस्ट’ स्कैम के मास्टरमाइंड को गिरफ्तार किया, जिसने खुद को सीबीआई अधिकारी बताकर देहरादून निवासी पीड़ित से ₹32.31 लाख ठग लिए। ठगों ने पीड़ित को वीडियो कॉल पर गिरफ्तारी वारंट दिखाकर धमकाया और 24 घंटे तक कॉल पर रखकर बैंक खातों में पैसे ट्रांसफर करवा लिए।

STF Uttarakhand arrested the mastermind of the 'Digital Arrest' scam from Jharkhand, who swindled ₹32.31 lakh from a Dehradun resident victim by posing as a CBI officer. The fraudsters threatened the victim by showing him an arrest warrant on a video call and got the money transferred to bank accounts.
